Speech Therapy is paying off!

Posted on: May 21, 2010

This week at speech therapy one of the new sentences we had practiced was “I hear ________”. Previously all three of the boys would say just the item they heard.

In class Jack actually said the correct sentence, but that was because that is what Tiffany was looking for. He doesn’t always transfer the skill unless I work with him on it.

He woke up this morning, and as he came down the stairs he could hear Justin crying. He shouts “I hear Justin!”

I am proud of him.

Fabulous news Shari!! So glad to hear that the therapy is working so well for the boys! You’ll have to give me pointers when Maggie starts therapy (hopefully in the fall!)

I will for sure! It really helped me to help Jack. Funny thing is Wes has always been ahead in his speech and Jack is learning from him, as well as therapy. You will have to tell me who you get. I know we have loved the 2 ladies we have worked with. My friends have all worked with different people and they loved them too.
